SEATTLE, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers searching for real estate information online now have a one-step way to get valuations and comparable home values on millions of American addresses, thanks to a new home valuation service that is available today on Yahoo! Search and Yahoo! Real Estate. Home value information is powered by Zillow.com, a real estate Web site that provides valuation and other information on nearly 67 million U.S. homes.
Consumers can now quickly get home values for most homes in the U.S. by going to Yahoo! Search and searching for "home values." A Yahoo! Shortcut allows users to enter a U.S. address that takes them directly to a Yahoo! Real Estate page where estimated values and comparable homes are plotted on an interactive Yahoo! Map. Users can also switch to satellite view and zoom in to see the surrounding neighborhood and comparable homes. Zestimate™ valuations, Zillow's estimated home values, along with local comparables and historical price trends from Zillow.com are available on Yahoo! Real Estate.
In addition to starting in Yahoo! Search, users can go directly to Yahoo! Real Estate (http://realestate.yahoo.com/) and get the same information by clicking on "What's My Home Worth?" (http://realestate.yahoo.com/Homevalues).
"Yahoo! is one of the most trafficked Internet destinations worldwide, where millions of people find useful information every day. Our mission is to provide free and unbiased information to as many consumers as possible, and this partnership is a natural extension of that basic idea," said Spencer Rascoff, Zillow.com vice president of marketing and CFO.
"Home value information is top of mind for consumers looking to buy or sell a home," said Chris Saito, senior director at Yahoo! Real Estate. "Our goal is to provide quick access to home values for anyone using Yahoo! Search or Real Estate and to provide the information on a rich, interactive Yahoo! Map. We are very pleased to integrate Yahoo! Real Estate's home valuation feature with Zillow.com, one of the most popular and trusted and comprehensive sources of real estate valuation information on the Web."
To easily access home values, visit http://www.yahoo.com/ and search for "home values"; you will be prompted to enter an address and will then see a Yahoo! Map with the home's Zestimate value. To use the tool in Yahoo! Real Estate, go to http://realestate.yahoo.com/Homevalues.
